Sedalia, MO Metal Building Contractor
What Sedalia Soil and Weather Do to a Metal Building
Sedalia’s industrial base keeps growing along US-50, with new warehouse and distribution space going up around Thompson Meadows. MAR builds commercial metal buildings for that market: Butler pre-engineered steel, design-build or erection-only, clear-span frames with no columns in the floor, on footings below Sedalia’s 32 inch frost line.
Most metal buildings across Sedalia and Pettis County are decades old, and a 100 degree annual temperature swing works exposed fasteners loose until the roof leaks. Commercial roofing, standing seam re-roofs, reskins, and metal building repair make up the rest of MAR’s work here, usually without stopping production.
Sedalia Commercial Metal Building Services
Site evaluation, building design, structural engineering, permit submittal, and construction under one contract. MAR produces the PE-sealed drawings, runs them through plan review, and self-performs the build.
Butler pre-engineered steel buildings for warehouses, manufacturing plants, distribution facilities, and commercial space. Clear-span framing with no interior columns, sized for the building’s wind, snow, and collateral loads.
Roof and wall leak repair, fastener replacement, panel and trim replacement, gutter and downspout work, door and frame repair, and storm damage restoration.
Replacement of exterior wall and roof panels on an existing frame. Includes tear-off of the old envelope, frame inspection and repair, new insulation, and new Butler panels.
Certified Butler Builder® Serving Sedalia
MAR has been a certified Butler Builder since 2014, delivering Butler Manufacturing building systems on commercial and industrial work across Missouri. The certification is not a logo. It means the frame, walls, and roof are engineered as one system and installed by a crew Butler trains and audits.
- Factory-punched framing for faster, accurate field assembly
- Frame, walls, and roof engineered as one sealed system
- MR-24® standing seam roof for temperature flexibility
- Framing sized for local wind and snow loads
- Matched system reducing coordination issues
How We Build in Sedalia, MO
Every MAR project in Sedalia follows the same five steps, from the first site visit through warranty registration. Design, permitting, and construction are all handled in house.
1. Consultation
Site visit to review access, grade, and where the building can sit, plus the size, use, and budget it has to work within.
2. Design
An in-house registered Missouri Professional Engineer seals Butler-engineered drawings sized to the site’s wind, snow, and soil conditions.
3. Permitting
MAR assembles the submittal, files it with the reviewing authority, and tracks the plan review through approval.
4. Construction
Foundation and anchor bolts, steel erection, then wall and roof panels, self-performed by AWS-certified welders and OSHA-trained crews.
5. Closeout
Final inspections, punch list, owner walk-through, closeout documents, and registration of the Butler weathertightness warranty.
